Our Story

Beastro & Barley is our progression from a bar with food to a restaurant with a bar.

We successfully owned and ran Touchdown Tavern for 15 years. Over time, we realized that people’s tastes were changing, and food was becoming more important to our customers. It was time for change!

In 2019 Kari earned her Culinary Arts degree from Madison College and in September 2020 we rebranded to Beastro & Barley.

It wasn’t enough to serve lots of different menu items. We want to serve interesting and unexpected menu items. Creating original and inspired menu offerings allows us to offer Reedsburg a dining experience unlike any other restaurant in town.

We want guests to be surprised by our menu choices.

And we want new guests to become regulars!
